Ganden Nyengyu council for Lharampa examinations

Ganden Nyengyu council for Lharampa consists of two head supervisors, each representing Serpom and Shar Ganden monasteries. They undergo a two-part examination process, beginning with ‘karam’ for two years, and followed by ‘Lharampa’ for two years. Upon successful completion of these rigorous four years of examinations, they are conferred the title of ‘Geshe Lharampa,’ which is the highest degree in Buddhist philosophy.

Lharampa Thupten chodrag is one of the esteemed supervisors. Together with his colleague, they coordinate the examination process, formulate the questions, evaluate the student’s performance, and assign grades.

This year, a total of 31 students participated in the highest-level examination, I am please to report that all of them passed the examination.
