Serpom Health Center (SHC) was founded in 2008, with a noble mission of extending free first aid and the medical services comparable to a full-fledged clinic.

Geshe Sherab Loden assumed the role of director, entrusting with a three-year term. his commitment is instrumental in steering the health center toward its goals.

Lobsang Yeshi has been a stalwart contributor to SHC for numerous years. He not only ferries patients to the hospital but also acts as an interpreter and invaluable assistant. And Yeshi is currently pursuing pharmacy license, further elevating his contributions to the center.

Dr. Arjun Sachidanand, the proprietor and chief orthopedic surgeon at DISHA hospital, also holds the distinction of being the founder of the founder and chairman of SAS Poorna Arogya Healthcare Pvt. In the year 2019, during one of Yeshi’s visits with a patient, he raised a concern about the financial challenges faced by the dispensary. To his astonishment, Dr. Arjun promptly offered to provide free medical services. Since then, Dr.  Arjun has graced the Serpom Health Center with his presence once a week, administering check-ups and treatments. The monks hold deep trust and affection for him, as he’s acquainted with many of the senior monks and is truly a compassionate healer. In simple terms, he possesses a heart of gold.

Dr. Sujay DJ, a remarkable physician, also visit us weekly for general check-upss. He is the visionary founder of BSR Healthcare, Speed Diagnostics /Pharmacy in Kushalnagar.
